The Vanished Truck Stops (work in progress, excerpt)
Told through vignettes and voiceover, The Vanished Truck Stops retells the story a retired driver reflecting on a vanishing world. I met him on the roads of Brittany, France. Using digital animation, rotoscoping, photography and location field recording, the film explores memory, isolation, and a changing landscape. Rooted in lived experience and emotional geography, it speaks of place, rural connection, and the impact of personal stories with broader landscapes.
